Mk3 Supra Foam Hood Seal. This is an additional non-OEM D-Shaped foam seal we came up with to seal the front hood edge of all 1986.5-1992 Mk3 Toyota Supras where the hood meets the top edge of the nose panel. We always felt after painting or restoring a Mk3 Supra this area looks bare, and can look unsightly if you look between the hood and nose panel while the hood is shut. The Mk4 Supra has a seal in this area, so we feel the Mk3 Supra should as well for that extra OEM+ finished look.
This seal comes with 3M double sided tape on the backside, and it gets applied to the flat top metal edge of the nose panel support. We suggest cleaning the area with glass cleaner and adhesion promoter before applying the seal.
