The Nightrun Garage MK3 Supra Battery Tie Down kit is a great addition to a clean engine bay! This replaces the OEM stamped steel battery tie-down which is prone to rusting and corroding due to proximity to battery acid. We designed our battery tie down to function like OEM, while looking great in the process. Machined from 6061 aluminum and anodized in a black bead-blasted finish, this tie down will hold your battery securely and is more resistant to the corrosive battery acid than the OEM steel part. This kit is designed to work with a 24F standard factory size battery. A group size 24F battery typically has the following dimensions:
- 10.75 inches (27.3 cm) long
- 6.75-6.81 inches (17.3 cm) wide - this is the most important dimension!
- 8.98-9.0 inches (22.9 cm) tall
Please confirm the dimensions of your battery before ordering to ensure this fits the width of your battery correctly. The critical dimensions of our bracket are the same as the Toyota OEM battery tie down. If you need to order a new battery for your Mk3 Supra, we highly recommend the Toyota OEM 24F True Start battery that is shown in the pictures. This battery can be purchased at any Toyota dealership and this is the correct factory battery for your Mk3 Toyota Supra! Please also note if you are using an aftermarket battery, our battery tie down runs diagonally across the top of the battery and through the cell tops as shown in the pictures.
