The 4AGE TRD head gasket is an inexpensive and easy upgrade to give your 4A-GE a little more power. This head gasket has a stock size 82.5mm bore and increases the compression ratio about half a point (0.5) and works for both the 4A-GE and 4A-GZE. When compressed, this metal head gasket measures about 0.8mm while the OEM head gasket measures about 1.2mm. This difference in gasket thickness is what slightly raises the static compression ratio.
